How to fill in the SG Arrival Card (SGAC)
The SGAC is free on Singapore’s official immigration e-Service: 43 boxes over two steps and a Review page, 20 of them always required. Submit it within 3 days before arriving, then check the declaration box and submit it yourself. Below is every box in order, from the older version ICA calls “current”, as we recorded it on 21 May 2026.

What do you need before you start?
- Your passport
- Your arrival date, and your flight, vehicle, ferry, or cruise details
- Where you’ll stay in Singapore: the hotel name, or the full address with its postal code
- Your departure date and where you go next
- An email address you can open while traveling, and a mobile number
What goes in the Traveller Information step?
Start your submission as a foreign visitor. These boxes are from the older version of the form, which ICA calls “current”, at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard. ICA’s newer “enhanced version” also takes your submission; ICA needs only one per trip.
Date of Arrival (DD/MM/YYYY)
Required
Three buttons, not a calendar: today, tomorrow, and the day after. Click the day you enter Singapore. If it isn’t there yet, it’s too early to submit.
Full Name (In Passport)
Required
Your full name exactly as in your passport, all in this one box. The box’s own hint reads “Given Name followed by Surname”.
Passport Number
Required
The number of the passport you’ll travel on, exactly as printed.
Date of Passport Expiry
Required · up to 10 characters
The expiry date printed in your passport. Type it as digits only, such as 01012030; the box adds the slashes itself (DD/MM/YYYY). Typing the slashes yourself scrambles the date. ICA asks visitors to hold a passport valid for at least six months.
Sex as indicated in passport

Date of Birth
Required · up to 10 characters
Your date of birth, as in your passport. Type it as digits only, such as 15081990; the box adds the slashes itself (DD/MM/YYYY). Typing the slashes yourself scrambles the date.
Nationality/Citizenship
Required
Type and pick from ICA’s list. Most entries are nationality words, such as MALAYSIAN, INDIAN, or BRITISH, though a few are country names, such as UNITED STATES. After you pick, the form greys out for a second or two; wait for it before typing in the next box.
Identity Card Number (For Malaysians Only)
Sometimes required · up to 12 characters
This box appears only after you pick MALAYSIAN as your nationality. Enter your identity card number with no dashes and no spaces, letters and digits only, up to 12 characters. Pick any other nationality and the box disappears.
Country/Place of Birth
Required
The country you were born in, from a list of country names, such as MALAYSIA. Not your city.
Place of Residence
Required
Where you live. Each entry reads country, state, city, such as MALAYSIA, JOHOR, JOHOR BAHRU; type your city and pick it. If your city isn’t listed, look for an OTHERS IN … entry for your country or state, such as INDIA, OTHERS IN INDIA, OTHERS IN INDIA.
Email Address
Required
An address you can open while traveling: ICA sends your acknowledgment here, and after you clear immigration, your e-Pass. The Review page shows it in capitals; that’s normal.
Country/Region Code
Required · up to 3 characters
The dialing code of your mobile number, without the + (the form shows it for you). Up to 3 digits.
Mobile Number
Required · up to 12 characters
Your mobile number, without the country code.
Have you ever used a passport under different name to enter Singapore?

What goes in the Trip Information step?
This step opens with the official line “You may add up to 3(three) trips for yourself in this submission.” Under the panel there is an “Add a trip | +” link, and it opens another set of these same boxes.
Last City / Port of Embarkation Before Singapore
Required
The city you set off from on your way into Singapore, from the same country, state, city list as Place of Residence, such as INDONESIA, RIAU ISLANDS, BATAM.

How you arrive. Visitors arriving by land or sea submit an SG Arrival Card too.
Mode of Transport
Sometimes required
Follows your Mode of Travel. By air: COMMERCIAL FLIGHT or PRIVATE/CARGO AIRLINE/OTHERS. By land, a list you type into: BUS, CAR, LORRY, MOTORCYCLE, RAIL, or VAN. By sea: CRUISE, COMMERCIAL VESSEL, FERRY, or PRIVATE CRAFT.
Flight Code
Sometimes required
Appears for COMMERCIAL FLIGHT: your airline, from a list that shows the name and code, such as AIR CHINA (CA). Check the entry you picked because similar names sit side by side. Airline not in the list? ICA’s FAQ says to choose PRIVATE/CARGO AIRLINE/OTHERS instead.
Flight Number
Sometimes required
Digits only; the airline code already went in Flight Code. For SQ806, pick the airline and type 806. Typing SQ806 here stops you at Next.
Carrier Name/Flight Number
Sometimes required
Appears for PRIVATE/CARGO AIRLINE/OTHERS: type the carrier’s name and the flight number.
Vehicle Number
Sometimes required
Appears for LAND: your vehicle’s registration number. On a bus or train with no number to give, ICA’s texts differ: its FAQ says to enter “TRAIN” or “BUS”, while its enhanced form’s text says you may indicate “BUS” or “RAIL”.
Cruise Name
Sometimes required
Appears for CRUISE: type your ship’s name and pick it from ICA’s list.
Vessel Name
Sometimes required
Appears for FERRY, COMMERCIAL VESSEL, or PRIVATE CRAFT: a text box for the vessel’s name.
Type of Accommodation in Singapore
Required · options: HOTEL · RESIDENTIAL · OTHERS
Where you’ll stay. HOTEL opens a hotel list, RESIDENTIAL opens address boxes, and OTHERS offers DAY TRIP or TRANSIT.
Name of Hotel

Appears for HOTEL: type part of the name and pick it from ICA’s list of Singapore hotels.
Postal Code

Appears for RESIDENTIAL, like the boxes below: the address’s postal code, six digits.
Block Number

The day you leave Singapore. Type it as digits only, such as 01012030; the box adds the slashes itself (DD/MM/YYYY). Typing the slashes yourself scrambles the date. In a Group Submission, this date doesn’t copy from the lead traveler on its own; see below.
Same as Last City

Check it if you’re heading back to where you came from: the form copies your Last City / Port and hides the box below.

Filing for more than one traveler?
One Group Submission takes up to 10 people traveling together on one trip. On the Traveller Information step, fill in the lead traveler, then click “Add Traveller” for the next person; each traveler gets their own panel. Trip details copy from the lead traveler (“Same as Lead Traveller”); uncheck it for anyone whose trip differs. Date of Departure from Singapore is the exception: it has its own “Same as Lead Traveller” box, unchecked at first, so check it for each extra traveler or type their date. ICA says you may submit on behalf of others, and each e-Pass goes to the email address on that person’s card.
How do you submit it?
- On the Review page, check every detail against your passport. To change something, use “Edit” at the end of the form.
- Check “I have read and agreed to the declaration.” and click Next.
- Enter the CAPTCHA and click Submit.
- ICA emails an acknowledgment, with your DE number, to the address you gave. Not there? Check your spam or junk folder.
- Spotted a mistake? Before your trip, use “Update SG Arrival Card” with the reference number from that email. Arrival date, name, passport number, passport expiry, date of birth, and nationality can’t be updated there: submit a new card, and ICA says the new one supersedes the earlier one.
