Do Indonesia passport holders need a visa for Singapore?

No visa to apply for. Indonesia passport holders enter Singapore without one. Taking the ferry from Batam? You clear immigration at a Singapore sea checkpoint, so you submit the SG Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival, arrival day included. It is free on ICA’s e-Service or in the MyICA Mobile app.

Taking the ferry from Batam?

The ferry from Batam lands you at one of Singapore’s sea checkpoints; ICA’s list includes Singapore Cruise Centre (HarbourFront) and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Clearing immigration there, a visitor has no exemption: ICA’s exemptions are for transit without clearing immigration and for residents crossing at Woodlands or Tuas.

On the form, choose SEA, then FERRY, and type the vessel’s name in Vessel Name. For Last City / Port of Embarkation Before Singapore, ICA’s list has INDONESIA, RIAU ISLANDS, BATAM.

Back to Batam the same day, with no hotel? Under Type of Accommodation in Singapore, choose OTHERS, then DAY TRIP.
