How many visa-free entries can I make in a year?

Thailand’s tourism authority, summarizing the new rules: “For entry through land-border immigration checkpoints, travellers using the 30-day visa exemption may generally enter Thailand under this exemption no more than twice per calendar year.” Australia is not among the countries exempt from that limit.

Australia’s Smartraveller: “You may only be allowed to enter Thailand on 2 visa-free entries each calendar year if you don't have a justifiable reason.” It doesn’t limit this to land borders.
